Nepenthes truncata (c) [(Giant F1) x A], CAR-0937
Nepenthes truncata (c) [(Giant F1) x A], CAR-0937
Nepenthes truncata is one of largest Nepenthes species and one of the most spectacular. It's a Phillipines endemic, native to the islands of Mindanao, Dinagat and Leyte. There's a wide variation of morphology and habitats across its range. Each one is unique and beautiful and we're happy to be working to line breed the best of this beautiful species.
Nepenthes truncata (c) [(Giant F1) x A], CAR-0937 is a cross between 2 outstanding individuals from the Exotica Plants giant truncata (c) breeding line. This line of truncata exhibits huge pitcher shapes, widely flared peristomes and elegant striping. In particular, we used a Giant F1 female and crossed that with our clone A male (that literally produces child size pitchers). We expect the offspring to look similar.
